Basement, Foundation and Crawl Space Waterproofing
Flooding and excessive moisture can cause extensive and/or expensive damage in your basement, crawl space, or foundation. Missouri Foundation and Foam has many options for you when looking to waterproof your home.
Interior Home Waterproofing Solutions:
A Sump Pump is a pump installed in a basin to remove water from an area. This will help to drain any standing water by pumping it out. Sump Pumps are used in conjunction with a drain system (can also be considered an Exterior Solution). Learn more about our Sump Pumps here.
A Dehumidifier is a mechanical device used to pull humidity out of the air. It is attached to the floor joist or on a base on the floor and plugged into a power source. Dehumidifiers reduce humidity, decrease issues of mold, and improve air quality. Learn more about dehumidifiers here.
The On-Footer Drain System is a one-track system that catches water coming off the wall.
The Footer Depth Drain System is a two-part system with a drip ledge to catch water from the wall and a multi-flow tile backfilled with rock that runs along the footer. This prevents both hydraulic water from coming in and catches water coming off the wall.
Exterior Home Waterproofing Solutions:
Membranes are flexible plastic sheets that are applied to the exterior of the foundation. Waterproofing membranes are intended to stop water before it has a chance to pass over or through the foundation wall. Learn more about our membranes here.
Exterior Drains are installed on the footer and usually pair with an exterior membrane on the foundation. The area around the foundation is then backfilled with rock to divert water away from the foundation. Learn more about our exterior drain systems here.
