Exterior waterproofing membranes address basement flooding and moisture by preventing excess moisture from damaging your foundation, basement, or crawl space. Our process for installing waterproofing membranes includes excavating the area around the foundation and applying a coating to the foundation wall. Membranes are installed to stop the water before passing through the foundation wall. There are two types of Membranes:

• Flexible plastic dimpled sheets are applied to the exterior of the foundation.
• Roll-on sheets that look like tar but cure and harden into a solid surface.

Membranes form a powerful moisture barrier that stops water from penetrating the foundation and basement. Closed-cell spray foam can be used in this capacity as well.
